Public Vendues. [heading] . . .
On Saturday the 11th of May, at the Vendue Office, by order of H. Van Cooten, the following articles, being the remainder of a consignment received by the ship Jan Willem, Capt. P. Van Vliet, from Rotterdam: - V & C, No. 1 to 5 - Five casks dry white lead, 3208 lbs. Dutch; V & C, No. 1 to 12 - 12 barrels starch, 1859 lbs. Dutch; D Z K - R Z K - 22 kegs sourcrout, those marked D are white cabbage, and others marked R, are red cabbage; C V B - 14 hogsheads Princess beer; C V B, H - 62 kegs Dutch herrings; C V B, V - 29 kegs salted fish, in Dutch called labberdaan; and 180 hampers potatoes.

At the Commissary-Court of the 6th of May, 1816, will be passed the following Transports and Mortgages: -
1. By J. W. Mapp, transport of the concession or lot No. 237, situated in Cumingsburg district, with all the buildings thereon - to J. D. Claxton.
2. By the Hon. James R. Robertson, transport of the buildings in lots No. 16 and 17, situated in American [sic] Street, front of plantation Vlissingen, together with his right, title, and interest in the land during the present lease - to Mark Dyett.
3. By William Tubman, transport of ninety Negroes, being the gang of plantation Carleton Hall, situated in Little Courabana - to I. S. Masse and C. Schulz, q.q. plantation Zeelandia on Waakenaam Island.
4. By I. S. Masse and C. Schulz, q.q. plantation Zeelandia, a first mortgage on the aforesaid ninety Negroes - in favour of Wm. Tubman.
5. By I. S. Masse and C. Schulz, a second mortgage on the aforesaid ninety negroes - in favour of Messrs. Sandbach, Tinne and Co. of Liverpool.
6. By the Representatives of plantation Le Repentir, a renewal of a first mortgage vested on said plantation - in favour of the Loan lately under direction of Mrs. D. W. Van Vlooten, now under direction of Messrs. Ketwich and Voomburgh of Amsterdam.
7. By Ann Crawford, transport of the upper part of lot No. 17, situated in Cumingsburg district, being 83 feet by 78 in depth, and 72 in breadth, in such a manner as it is at present railed in, with her right of ten feet passage, along with the other proprietors of said lot to the front dam - to Andrew Johnstone.
8. By N. M'Kinnon, q.q. Lewis Corbet, transport of the north half-lot No. 220, situated in Cumingsburg district, with all the buildings thereon - to the two children of Harriett Jackman, named James and Nathaniel.
9. By S. Cramer, and Ed. Bishop, jun. transport of plantation Kinell, or lot No. 9, situated on the West Coast of Essequebo, between plantation [sic] Walton Hall and Paradise, with all the buildings and cultivations thereon - to Benjamin Kingston.
10. By A. Cart, in the name and behalf of the Members of the Masonic Lodge, the Chosen Friends, transport of the concession or lot No. 60, situated on the north side of the middle dam of Stabroek, with all the buildings thereon - to Malcolm Campbell.
11. By H. T. Ferguson and Co. Attornies of Amelia Meagher, administratrix to the estate of Francis Meagher, dec. transport of the buildings, situated on the east half of lot No. 31, and 2-3ds of the west part of lot No. 32, situated in front of plantation Vlissingen, together with all the right, title and interest in the land during the present lease - to Hugh Douglas.
12. By N. M. Manget, q.q. Mrs. Marie Jeane Louisa Mamirault, widow and relict of the late F. C. De Cornette, transport of the plantation Versailles, situated on the west bank of the river Demerary, between the plantations Malgre Tout and Good Fortuin, with all the buildings, cultivations, and slaves thereto belonging, agreeable to an inventory thereof, to be seen at the Secretary's Office ,of this colony - to F. De Ridder.
13. By F. De Ridder, a first mortgage on said plantation Versailles, situated as before, with all the buildings, cultivations, and slaves thereto belonging - in favour of Mrs. Marie Jeane Louisa Lamirault, widow of the late F. C. De Cornette.
14. By A. Van Der Stok, q.q. the estate of I. Van Den Paadevoort, dec. transport of all his right, title, and interest in the water or mud lots, situated in Kingston district, opposite the lots No. 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 - to Wm. Jeffrey.
15. By the Representatives of the Estate of H. Lockey, dec. transport of a part of the concession No. 15 and 16, situated in Cumingsburg district, being 28 feet in front, and 160 feet in depth, as it is at present railed in, with all the buildings thereon - to Alexander Fraser.
16. By F. De Ridder, q.q. the estate of Mrs. J. E. De Wolff, dec. transport of the concession or lot No. 50, situated in Werk en Rust district, with all the buildings thereon - to J. A. Kihing.
17. By George Mahlstedt and Catharina Maria Sargenton, his wife, transport of plantation Regt Door Zee, situated on the north side of the canal No. 1, west bank of river Demerary, with all the buildings, cultivations, and a number of 37 Negroes thereon, all agreeable to an inventory thereof, to be seen at the Secretary's Office of this Colony - to the Hon. F. P. Van Berckel.
18. By the Hon. F. P. Van Berckel, a mortgage on said plantation Regt Door Zee, situated as before, with all the buildings, cultivation, and a number of 37 Negroes thereon - in favour of G. Mahlstedt and Catharina Maria Sargenton, his wife.
19. By H. Frost and Edward Barnwell, Executors to the estate of the late Edward Barnwell, Esq. transport of plantation St. Christopher, situated on the west coast of the river Demerary, with all the buildings, cultivations, cattle, and a number of 142 Negroes; also, transport of 94 Negroes, now attached to said plantation, the names thereof to be seen at the Secretary's Office of this colony - to Edward Barnwell.
20. By Edward Barnwell, a first mortgage on the aforesaid 94 Negroes, in favour of Messrs. Bolton and Littledale of Liverpool.
21. By Edward Barnwell, a third mortgage on plantation St. Christopher, with all the buildings, cultivation, and a number of 142 Negroes, the names thereof to be seen at the Secretary's Office of this colony - in favour of Messrs. Bolton and Littledale of Liverpool.
22. By the Curators of the estate of the late F. C. Engels, dec. transport of the east half of the concession at present known sub No. 20, situated in Werk en Rust district - to James Sampson.
23. By James Sampson, a mortgage on the west half of the concession or lot, at present known sub No. 20, with all the buildings thereon, situated in Werk en Rust district; also, on four slaves, named Cotsy, John, Clarissa, and Pamela - in favour of J. H. Albouy and Co.
24. By the Hon. F. P. Van Berckel and Hugo Cantzlaar, transport of the half concession or lot No. 37, situated on the north side of the middle dam of Stabroek district, with all the buildings thereon - to Alexander Stevenson.
25. By James Lewis and Latham Avery, as well for themselves as for the late firm of Lewis, Lester, and Avery, and Lewis and Avery, Transport of all their right, title, and interest in the unexpired term of a lease granted them, by the Representatives of D. Campbell, Esq. of a piece of Land, situated in front of Plantation Farm, in Mahaicony district, together with all the Buildings of every description, and a number of 104 negroes, the names thereof to be seen at the Secretary's Office of this Colony - to Park Benjamin and J. H. Albouy.
26. By James Lewis and Latham Avery, Transport of the one half of Plantation Calcutta, situated in Abary district, with a number of twenty-three negroes, more or less, the names thereof to be seen at Secretary's Office of this Colony - to Park Benjamin and J. H. Albouy.
27. By Park Benjamin and J. H. Albouy, a Mortgage on the Buildings situated on the aforesaid piece of Land, in front of Plantation Farm, and the aforesaid 104 negroes; also on the on the one half of Plantation Calcutta, situated as before, and on 23 negroes more or less - in favour of James Lewis and Latham Avery.
28. By Ann Sanderson, Transport of 2/3ds of the Concession or Lot No. 37 situated in Bridge-Town district, with all the Buildings thereon, together with all her right, title, and interest in the land during the present lease, to John H. Hendy.
29. By C. H. Lloyd, Transport of the Concession No. 61, situated in Cumingsburg district - to Frances Harris.
30. By Joseph Beete, Transport of the Concession No. 60, situated in Cumingsburg district, to H. Strange.
31. By the Representatives of Plantation Werk and Rust, Transport of the Half Concession No. 46, situated in front of Plantation Werk and Rust, with the buildings thereon - to Joseph Connor and F. C. Man.
32. By William Brereton, (with consent of the Hon. P. C. Ouckama, as Representative of the first Mortgagees) transport of plantation West Field, formerly called Jalousie, situated on the West Sea coast of Essequebo, with all the buildings, cultivation, Slaves, and further appurtenances thereto belonging - to Robert Patterson [sic].
33. By Robert Patterson, a renewal of a First Mortgage vested on the aforesaid Plantation West Field, formerly called Jalouisie [sic], with all the buildings, cultivation, and a number of Sixty-two Negroes, the names thereof to be seen at the Secretary's Office of this Colony, in favour of the Heirs of the Estate of the late Jan Peterzen [sic], dec.
34. By Chas. M'Garel, q.q. John Maccomon, transport of the concession or lot No. 47, situated in Cumingsburg district, to Maria Magdalena Coulongue, and her seven children named Simon, William, James, Mary, Margaret, John, and Hugh.
