Notice is hereby given, at the request of H. J. Van de Water, specially substituted by F. C. Elbers, Esq. Executor to the last will and testament of Pieter Carper Moll, deceased, to all persons having any demands against the estate of the deceased, to render the same, properly attested, within two months from date, at the residence of the said H. J. Van de Water, in Werk en Rust district, No. 30; and all those indebted, are earnestly requested to come forward with payment without delay, in order to bring the estate to a speedy close.

Notice is hereby given, at the request of John Ross, of Mahaica, Esq. that he intends to quit this Colony in the course of two months from date, and therefore requests all persons having any demands against him, to render them, properly attested, within the above period; and all those indebted, to come forward with payment without delay.

The arrivals since our last, are - the brig Dasher, from Halifax; the schooner Walton, from Wilmington; and schooner Hosepha, from Antigua. But we have not heard of any news by either.

PUBLIC VENDUES. [heading]

On Monday the 31st instant, at the Vendue-Office, by order of Messrs. H. T. Ferguson & Co. without reserve -
A Consignment of Negro Cloathing, consisting of blankets, jackets, wrappers, hats, &c.
Also, by order of J. J. Knight, Esq. a bale of blue salempores, landed from the Ship Spectator, damaged and condemned by Survey.
Also, by order of His Honor the Fiscal - the woman Polly-Mary, of Plantation Bushy Park, brought by Plantation Vreede en Vriendschap, out of the Colony-Jail, according to the Regulations of the Hon. Court of Policy, dated 17th November, 1801, at six weeks credit.
Also, to close a consignment - a case of cotton hammocks, and 60 dozen port wine in bottles.
Also, by order of J. Schoemaker, Esqr. - claret and Rhenish wines in bottles.
Also, by authority, and with the consent of John Brown, in behalf of himself and William Siggins, to satisfy the demand of an Execution taken up against the fast-sailing Schooner Governor Bentinck, with all her sails, rigging, tackle, &c. as she now lays. She is well found and requires little repair to put her in complete service. Terms to be known on the day of sale.
Also, by order of Murray & Jones, on account of those concerned, the following goods, condemned by survey, landed from on board the William Neilson, D. K. Brown master, from Liverpool: - 3 trunks, M.J. No. 9, 10, and 11, each containing 15 pieces plain and fancy muslin; 2 ditto, No. 14 and 15, each containing 14 pieces ditto; also part of ditto, No. 61, say 7 pair of cloth pantaloons.
Also, by order of the Executor of J. S. Smith, dec. - three-fourths of a lot of land, in the district of Werk en Rust, formerly No. 4, now No. 28, with the buildings and appurtenances thereto belonging. Also, a piece of wood land, on the west side of Demerary River, known as Plantation Leyden, one hundred roods facade, more or less.
