Execution Sale

By Virtue of Authority received from His Honor the President of the Honorable Court of Criminal and Civil Justice for the United Colony of Demerary and Essequebo, &c. &c. &c. I, the undersigned Deputy First Marshal of said Honourable Court, will expose for sale, unto the highest bidder, in presence of the Honorable Counsellor Commissaries and their Secretary, at the Court-house, in George-town, on the Sixth day of January, 1818.
1st. - In behalf of L. Fitzgerald, J. J. Vlaardingerwoud, q.q. A. Van Hoboken, and Alexander Simpson, and James Gentle, for the late firm of James Gentle & Co. plaintiffs, versus G. C. Meyer, defendant; the defantant's [sic] Premises, situated in the district of Werk en Rust, and knows an No. 15, 16, 23, and 24, as also, his unexpired Lease of Lot No. 8, and half of Lot No. 7, situated in the district, Vlessingen, with the Building thereon, called the Union Coffee House.
2d. - In behalf of Thomas Shute, plaintiff, versus Thomas Dunbrack, defendant; the defendant's Lot No. 30, situated in the district, Kingston, with the Buildings thereon.
3rd. - In behalf of Robert Munro, q.q. George Lacy, plaintiff, versus Henry Bollers, free coloured man, defendant; the defendant's negro man, Welcome.
4th. - In behalf of the Attornies in this Colony of D. N. A. Van Hoytema, as also, in behalf of H. C. Pollard, q.q. Marius, plaintiffs, versus the free black woman Mercy Ann Blackman, defendant; the defendant's negro woman, Molly Esther and her two children, Patsy and Clarissa.
Whoever shall conceive to have any right, title, or claim on the above stated properties, and wishing to oppose the sale thereof, are to address themselves to me, in writing, in due time, at the Marshal's Office, stating their reason of opposition, when I will appoint such opposer or opposers a day of hearing before the Hon. Court of Justice, for the trial of the same, and those wishful of purchasing, will attend on the day, and at the place above stated.
