Demerary, 25th September, 1810.
Notice is hereby given that Tenders, for the execution of the following Contracts and Supply of Labour and Materials for the Royal Engineers Department for Six Months, will be received at this Office till Monday the 8th of October next, at 12 o'Clock; when they will be opened in the present of the respective Officers, and the lowest Tender or Tenders if approved will be accepted.
Contracts.
No. 1. - For erecting a Wooden Bridge leading into Fort William Frederick.
2. - For erecting a Brick Bridge over the trench leading from the Public Road to the Parade Ground, near the Commandant's quarters.
3. - For repairing the Brick Cisterns at Eve Leary, and in Fort William Frederick.
4. - For making three Portable Magazines.

Labourers, do. Without Rations.
Pitch-Pine Lumber per M.
White-Pine ditto per do.

Every information respecting the above Services or Supplies will be communicated to any Person wishing to Contract for the whole or any part thereof, on their applying at the Royal Engineer Office, between the Hours of nine and two o'Clock.
N.B. Security will be required for the fulfilment of each Contract.

The Trustees appointed by the Honble. Court of Justice for the arrangement of Mr. W. Brereton's affairs, having taken over the Plant. Peter's Hall on the [blank] of June from the Sequestrators, intend to have a Mortgage passed at the first Commissary Court in November, in favour of such of his Creditors as may render their claims to John Crossman at his House in New Town on or before the 28th October, substantiated either by the Signature of Mr. Brereton or other proper vouchers, in compliance with the 6th Article of Agreement between Mr. B. and the Trustees on the part of his Creditors.

Seward Esq. as Attorney in this Colony for Richard Barry Esq. of Berbice, - Notice is hereby from this Office given, that the Public are generally and individually cautioned from taking in payment an Order drawn by Robert Taitt on the said Richard Barry, dated 11 July 1810, in favor of A. Shanks for f 9471 8 - The value of said order having been settled by Mr. Shanks with Mr. Barry as appears by an official Copy of a signed Account-Currt. of Mr. Shanks lodged in this Office. Mr. Barry requires this Public Notice to be given to prevent any one being imposed upon as the amount of said order will not again be paid by him.

A Brig from Newfoundland arrived here last Evening, she touched at Barbados, from whence she had twelve days passage - this is the only arrival since our last.
