BEKENDMAAKINGEN, Van de Secretary. [heading]

Alzoo den Heer Joseph Taylor, meerderjaarige Jongman gebooren in London, ter eenre en Mejuffrouw Mary Rogers, minderjaarige jonge Dogter, geadsisteerd met haar Moeder Vrouw Rebecca Rogers, gebooren alhier, van voorneemens zyn met elkander een wettig Huwelyk aan te gaan zo als dezelve ook reeds op den 27 deezer, voor Heeren Raaden Commissarissen uit den Edele Achtbaare Hove van Crimineele en Civiele Justitie, in Ondertrouw zyn waaren opgenoomen, zo word zulks mits deezen an elk en een iegelyk geadverteerd ten einde die geenen welke vermeenen zich tegens dit voorgenoomen Huwelyk te kunnen opponeeren zulks in tyds te doen, ter plaats waar het behoord.
Actum ter Secretary van Rio Demerary, dezen 28 November 1804.

Alzoo den Heer John Ross, meerderjaarig Jongman geboren in het Koningryk van Scotland, ter Eenre en Mejuffrouw Mary Watson, Weduwe van wylen William Craig, woonende [illegible] ter andere zyde. van voorneemens zyn met elkander een wettig Huwelyk aan tegaan, zo als dezelve ook reeds op den 24 dezer voor Heeren Raaden Commissarissen uit den Edele Achtbaare Hove van Crimineele en Civiele Justitie, in Ondertrouw zyn opgenoomen, zoo word zulks mits deezen aan elk en een iegelyk geadverteerd, ten einde die geenen welke vermeenen zich regens dit voorgenoomen Huwelyk te kunnen opponeeren, zulks in tyds te doen ter plaats waar het behoord.
Actum ter Secretary van Rio Demerary dezen 26 November 1804.

Alzoo de Heeren [?] I. Greeve Med. Doctor, John S. Cristee en William [??]llikelly, van voorneemens zyn binnen den tyd van 14 daagen deeze Colonie te verlaaten, zo word zulks mits deezen aan elk en een iegelyk geadverteerd, ten einde die geenen welke iets van hun te pretendeeren hebben, ofte aan hun verschuldigd zyn, hunne pretensien te koomen op en aangeeven, als [?]an de eerste gemelde ten Huize van de Heeren Pasquier & Otto, in Stabroek, ofte repsectiv[?]yk ter hunner Domicilium.
Actum ter Secretary van Rio Demerary, dezen 29 Novbr. 1804.

PUBLICK AUCTIONS. [heading]

To be Sold at Public Vendue on Monday the 10th Instant, at the Store of O. J. Laurin, on Werk & Rust, the following Articles, viz: - Madeira Wine per hogshead and in bottles, Claret ditto, Gin ad Brandy in cases, split pease, pearl barley, Negro cloathing, salempores, sweet oil, salt fish, beef, pork, mackrel and herrings, flour, butter, lard, candles, soap, hams, and different other Articles.

On Tuesday the 11th Instant, will be Exposed for Sale to the highest Bidders, by Order of R. Emerson Esqr. Executor to the Estate of A. Tregent deced: on the half Lot of Land No. 17, in front of Plantation Vlissingen: - The said half Lot with all the Buildings thereon: a parcel of Negroes, amongst which are two exceeding good Waiting Boys, Field Negroes, a valuable Woman as a Washer, Huckster, Nurse or House-Servant, and other Washers, [illegible] and House-maids. Also a few Articles of Household Furniture consisting of Mahogany Tables, side board, chairs, bedsteads, matrasses, and such other Articles as shall be produced.

On Monday the 3d Instant, will be Exposed for Sale to the highest Bidders, at the Store of Capt. J. Clapham, after the sale of N. Rousselet Esqr. - Beef, Pork, Claret, Flour, Rice, Tobacco, Brandy, Soap, Candles, Gin, &c. &c.

EXECUTIE VENDUEN. [heading]

Op Dingsdag den 4 December aanstaande, zial van weegens den Ondergeteekende, voor Heeren Raaden Cammissarissen uit den Edele Achtbaare Hove van Justitie, by Executie werden verkogt, de door John Griffin, ten behoeve van John Wm. Quin, onder Executie gegeevene Negers Padt, Andis en Hercules, welke twee laatste, al nu zyn gesteld in plaats van de daar bevoorens aangeewesene en nu ver[illegible] Negers Prins en Charley, in dien dier halve iemand tegens den verkoop der bovengemelde Neegers Padt, Andis en Hercules, eenig recht van oppositie vermeenen te hebben, nandele, en addresseere z[illegible] zodanige, als men te raade zal werden, ofte vermeenen te behooren, en zy die in den Verkoop dier Negers hunne Gading vinden vervoegen zig ten voorz. dage ten Raadhuize op de Hoofdplaats Stabroek, en doen hun Profyt.

The Subscribers intimate to those concerned, that all Accounts due them for the Year 1803, remaining unpaid on the 1st day of January next, will on that date be placed in the hands of a Lawyer to be sued for. - Produce will be received at Colony Price in Payment.

The Subscribers take the earliest Opportunity of informing their Friends and the public, that they intend carrying on the Gold and Silver Smiths Business, at their Shop in the New Town, near the Coffee House, where all Orders will be executed with Correctness and Dispatch.

To be Sold, (Price Four Dollars Cash,) at J. Huiberts's Office, a Translation of the Regulations for the Administration of Justice and the manners of the Proceedings, in the Rivers Essequebo and Demerary, framed by the Committee of Ten and approved by their High Mightinesses the Lords States General of the United Netherlands - said Huiberts requests that the Gentlemen who have confided him with the Translation of their Papers and which have long ago been ready, will be so obliging to send for them, accompanied with ready Cash. For Sale by the Subscribers, at their Store on the American Stelling; - New cod fish, salmon in barrels, makrel in do. alewives in do. Irish pork, do. rose butter, paints and paint oil, nails assorted from 4 to 30d, hand saws, Madeira wine per pipe or dozen, rum, gin, porter, ale &c.

Weggeloopen van den Ondergeteekende, twee Negers de eene genaamt Willem, zynde een steke groot Neger oud circa 22 jaaren, van de Timnie Natie, een weinig gemerkt in het aangezigt, heest een Reys met de Heer Butler gedaan naar Barbados.
De andere genaamt Leyden, zynde mede een groot zwaare Neger nog geen 20 Jaar oud, van de Mandingo Natie, heest leere hair kappe by Piero van Mevrouw Dusart, spreekt beyde Engels en Creools; die een van beyde te regt brengt by den Ondergetekende zal twaalf Daalders Vangloon geniete

Notice is hereby Given; the Subscriber from his Impaired state of Health, is advised to leave the Colony immediately, which he would have done some time ago, if he had it in his power to do Justice to the pressing Demands against him, he therefore requests all those Indebted to him, to come forward to his assistance, so as to enable him immediately to satisfy his Creditors and leave the Colony for the Re-establishment of his Health.

Runway from the Subscriber, a Negro Man named Salisbury, he is rather aged and has a tilt in his Gait, he is supposed to be secreted on Plantation Providence, where he has a Wife; - Whoever will deliver him to the Subscriber, shall be handsomely Rewarded. Edward Jones.
Who has two large new Punts for Sale, on very reasonable Terms. Demerary, 1st Decr. 1804.

For Sale; - Five Negroes, two of whom are compleat Blacksmith's [sic], capable of Executing any kind of Work in that Trade; two tractable Boys, and an elderly Man who has been used to Drudgery. The above Negroes are sold for no fault whatever, and if not disposed off [sic] previous to the 11th Inst. they will on that day be Sold at Public Vendue. - For further Particulars apply at the Printing-Office.
