This is the last Will and Testament of me Anna Maria Van Cooten of 57 Milton Road Gravesend single woman I nominate and appoint my friend Sarah Jane Primrose formerly of West Grove House Walthamstow to be the sole Executrix of this my Will I direct that the sum of thirty pounds be paid to Mr William Anderson formerly of Brompton Row Brompton Middlesex Surgeon for medical attendance upon me up to the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty I give to my sister Rosalie Virginia Gooman widow of Hubits St Martins Guernsey one hundred pounds To my cousin Elizabeth Smithers residing at Villa Marina Promenade des Anglais Nice nineteen pounds nineteen shillings to my cousins Alice Playter and Eliza Van Cooten residing together at Plaisance East Coast Demerrara nineteen pounds nineteen shillings between them to my friend Maria Ripe of 28 Kings Road Chelsea nineteen pounds nineteen shillings to my friend Georgina Elmer of 16 Cambridge Street Pimlico ten pounds to my friend Alice Lee now residing at Sand rock Cottage Midhurst Sussex ten pounds to Mary Ann Painter Widow residing with me at 57 Milton Road Gravesend fifty pounds These legacies are to be paid out of a sum of three hundred pound at present deposited with my friend Sarah Jane Primrose for which I receive from her five pounds per cent per annum interest After payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences I give the residue of all my property and effects of whatsoever kind and wheresoever situated to my before named Executrix and lastly revoking all my former Wills and testamentary dispositions I declare this to be my last In witness whereof I have signed my name this sixth day of September one thousand eight hundred and seventy two — Anna Maria Van Cooten — signed by the said Anna Maria Van Cooten the Testatrix as and for her last will in the presence of us / present at the same time / who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other leave hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses — D. Proved at London 26th December 1873 by the oath of Sarah Jane Primrose Spinster the sole Executrix to whom Admon was granted.
