Saturday, the 29th of October.

The Commanders of Merchantmen now in this River, who wish to avail themselves of the Convoy, that is to sail on the 15th November next, are desired to call at Government House on Sunday the 30th Instant, at 10 o'Clock in the forenoon, to receive such directions as shall be deem'd necessary.

Alzoo de Heer A. M. Monsanto van voorneemens is binnen den tyd van 14 dagen van hier te vertrekken, zoo wordt zulks mits dezen bekend gemaakt, ten einde die geenen, welke iets van hem te pretendeeren hebben, of aan hem verschuldigd zyn, hunne pretensien koomen ontvangen, of hunne schulden betaalen ter zyner domicilium.

Just Imported and for Sale by the Subscribers at their Store lately occupied by Messrs: A. McNiel & Co. the following Goods, for Cash or Produce, viz: - Irish butter, candles, Port wine by the dozen and in puncheons of 12 dozen each. Ironmongery consisting of hoes, axes, nails, corn mills, iron potts &c. Earthen ware in casks assorted, a full assortment of Dry Goods, consisting of plain and worked muslins, silk and stripe ditto, book ditto, Madrass and pullicat hand kerchiefs, romall and balazore ditto, bandano ditto, linen and pullicat pocket ditto, Gentlemens ready made Clothes consisting of coats, vests, pantaloons, trowsers, jackets, breeches, neck cloths and lace boots, Ladies bonnetts, robes and shawls, black lace, Negro cloathing consisting of check shirts and trowsers, blue and white pennissons, blaneting and oznabrugs, pumpleather, glue in casks, an assortment of buttons, superfine imperial bluecloth by he [sic] piece, coffin furniture, an assortment of Jewelry consisting of gold and silver watches, watch chains, silver tea spoons, silver corals, bracelets, neck laces and ear rings, silver segar tubes &c. lamp oil in jugs of 3 gallons each, and different other Articles.

The Subscribers have for Sale at their Store on Werk & Rust Port and old Hock, best claret, Medoc and Malaga Wines, best old cogniac Brandy by the dozen and in cases, Liqueurs, sweet oil, vinegar in jugs, prepaired [sic] Medicines in cases, pecko tea, tobacco, different sorts of paints, Spanish indigo, writing paper, Dutch ch[illegible] and East India Nankeens, table cloths, linens, oznabrugs, cotton and coffee bagging, Nails of different sizes, Plantation Tools and American Lumber.

Van weegen den WelEdelen Heer en Mr. A. C. Boode to Amsterdam, heb ik de eer des zelfs Vrienden te communiceer[illegible] voorspoedige bevalting van Mevrouw Phoebe Boode, geboorn[illegible] Dannett van eene welgeschapen en gezonde Dogter op den Juny dezes Jaars.

Just Imported in the Ship Polly from Boston, and for Sale by Subscriber, viz: - Fish in hogsheads and boxes, Flour, in whole and half barrels, Pork in ditto, Spermaceti Candles, mould candles, Soap, Mackarel, Herrings, Lumber, red and white oak Staves, and many other Articles.

Two Indian Girls Runaway, one about 10 Years old, named Kitty, speaks Dutch and English and is marked with a black stripe under her chin; the other named Susanna is about 16 Years old, speaks a little Dutch and has a black stripe above her nose. The two Girls have fair skin, no marks of whips but is as smoothe as velvet. Those that will take them up and deliver them to me will receive Two Joes.

De ondergetekende adverteert by dezen, da[illegible] by hem, een ge[illegible] men tyde geleden is opgebragt een jonge Koey. Die dezen toebehoort, wordt verzogt gem. Koey binnen de tyd van agt a[illegible] naa dit Advertentie astehallen, zullende by naal[illegible] tigheid van die[illegible] (alzoo de tyde geexpireerd is) meerged. Koey op publicque Vendue voor de kosten verkogt worden.
