Bekendmaakingen, Van de Secretary. [heading]

Alle de geenen, welke iets pretendeeren hebben van, ofte verschuldigd zyne aan den Boedel en Nalatenschap van wylen den Her G. J. Coninck, zoo voor hem, als voor het Huys van Negotie, gecanteerd hebbende op de Firma van Touson & Coninck, gelieven daar van opgaven en betaalingen te doen binnen den tyd van ses weeken, naa dato dezes, ten huyze van de Heeren P. J. C. Van Ryssel en H. D. Obermuller, in qualiteit als Executeuren Testamentair, tem einde gemelde Boedel met de meeste spoed tot liquid[illegible] te brengen.
Actum ter Secretary van Rio Demerary dezen 20 Maart 1804.

Alzoo den WelEdele Gestrenge Heer P. P. Luyken, Raad in den Edel Achtbaaren Hove van Politie, den Heer Theodore Barrell met deszelfs Familie, Mevr. Walker en de Heer J. H. van Oldenhausen van voorneemens zyn om met het eerste Convoy van hier te vertrekken, als mede de Heer J. C. Hollruns hinnen den tyde van ses weeken, en de Herren James Tait en J. Seysser binnen den tyd van veertien dagen, zoo wordt zulks mits dezen aan elk en een ieglyk bekend gemaakt, ten einde die geenen, welke iets van dezelven, zoo in Prive[accent] als qualiteit te pretendeeren hebben, of verschuldigd zyn, hunne pretensien koomen aangeeven of hunne Schulden voldoen ter hunner Domicilium, of wet ter Secretary alhier.

PUBLICK AUCTIONS. [heading]

The Commissary of the Vendue advertises that on Monday the 26th Instant, will be Exposed for Sale to the highest Bidders, on the American Stelling, precisely at 10 o'Clock, by order of E. N. Wichers, - Three hundred barrels of Superfine Flour just imported in the Schooner Ann Ballard, Capt. Moffat, from Norfolk, Virginia.

The Commissary of the Vendue advertises that on Tuesday, the 27th Instant, will be Exposed for Sale to the highest Bidders by order of Messrs: Bruninghaus & Bergh - Malaga Wine in barrels and kegs of 20 Gallons, raisins, olives in kegs, beef and pork in whole and half barrels, Flour in do & do, soap, candles, lamp oil, hoes, cutlasses, tobacco, prunes, butter, white lead, oil, &c.

Schirmeester; - Household Furniture, consisting of Mahogany ward robes, Secretaires, side boards, tables and chairs, glass ware, Earthen ware, copper ware, Kitchen utensils, pictures, good and silver, table cloths, and dry Goods

The Commissary of the Vendue advertises that on Monday, the 9th of April, will be Exposed for Sale to the highest Bidders, by Order of M. P. C. J. Van Ryssel, for the Mulatto Woman L. J. C. Warner, Executrix to the Estate of D. Taayspell deceased; Five Lotts of Land, situated on the front Land of LaBourgade, now called Cumingsburg, known on the Chart by the Numbers 192, 193, 194, 195, and 196.

The Commissary of the Vendue advertises that on Monday, the 16th of April, will be Exposed for Sale to the highest Bidders, by Order of Mr. E. C. Eli, at his Store in Stabroek; - Very fine Milch Cows and other Cattle, Chaises for one or two horses, the Harnesses compleat, House Furniture, looking glasses, chairs, tables, gold Watches, Jewels, hair combs, table Service, &c.

Imported by the Subscribers in the Ships Grenada from London and British Queen from Bristol, and for Sale at their Store in the New Town, viz: - Beer, porter, Taunton ale and cyder in bottles, loaf sugar, teas, spices, pickles, hams, sweet, oil, mustard and vinegar, pine, dolphin and wiltshire cheese, split pease and barley, oats, Gentlemens and Ladies hats, boots and shoes, broad cloths and cassimeres with trimmings, printed cottons and counterpanes, Gentlemens and Ladies cotton stockings, umbrellas, Stationery, Negro clothing, hoes, shovels and cutlasses, nails, paints and oil, iron pots, anchors, cordage and canvas, sheet lead, coopers, carpenters and masons' tools, chamber door and stock locks, hinges, bolts, stay hooks and staples, gin cranks, single Horse Chaises with plated harness, tandem harness, saddles and bridles, gray stock bricks, paving tiles, building and temper lime, grind stones, wood and iron hops, rivets, &c. &c.

Imported in the Ship Grenada from London and for Sale Demerary Almanacks for 1804 in Sheets and in Pocket Books [illegible] various sizes and qualities, Porter in barrels, has also a few boxes [illegible] noyeau, cherry and raspberry brandy, Reeve's water colours, hyson [illegible] spices, co[?]ks, scarlet cloth, superfine Flour, a Phaeton Harness [illegible] Gentleman's Turning Lathe, and a few other Articles.

The Undersigned has just received in addition to his fo[illegible] assortment and for for [sic] Sale at his Store for immediate Payment in Cash, Cotton or Coffee, the following Articles, viz: - Muslin, callicoes, Irish linen, checks and sheeting, Ladies and Gentlemens white and black silk gloves ditto wash leather ditto. Ladies [illegible] roaforts, Men and Womens stockings, hair powder and pomatum, [illegible] bark powder, glauber salts and rappee snuff in bottles point oil [illegible] jugs, paint in pots, brass and stock locks, tin tea kettles, sugar strainers, Coopers tools, log and fishing lines, fish hooks, mops, large and small reicpt and memorandum books, large and small plated wai[illegible] liquor and vinegar stands, coffee pots with lamp stands, bread baskets, porter cups, candlesticks, patent razors with razor straps [sic], Sportmen's pocket knives, and a variety of other Articles.

Evertsz in leven Boekhouder Generaal dezer Colonie in Steinfield, Departement van den Ned[illegible] Rhyn is overleden, zoo wordt ieder, die iets aan hem verschuldigd is, of iets te pretendeeren heeft verzogt, betaling te doen, of hunne pretension te koomen opgeeven by den Ondergetekenden.

The Subscriber intending to leave this Colony in two Months (please God to return again) for America or Burmuda [sic] to recover his health and to refresh and strengthen his Spirits, most worn out in the service of his Employers, his Clients, which he request will send for their Papers at his Office: all those therefore that have any Demands are requested to call for Payment, and those indebted to him to Pay him.
Having sold half Concession Lr. E advertised by last Papers for sale, he now offers the two others for Sale, No. 40 and 39, also a half Concession no. 70 fronting Mrs. Mary Mot's Premises.
A Vendue will be kept of the Furniture and other Articles a few Weeks before he will leave the Colony.

Saturday, the 24th of March.

Runaway from the Subscriber, a Negro Man named Tarrice, by Trade a Carpenter, has a lame leg and is supposed to be harboured on the East Coast. A Reward of THREE JOES will be given to any Person apprehending the same and lodging him in the Barracks, or to the Subscriber in Stabroek.
