His Excellency the Lieutenant-governor and the Honorable Court of Policy, have been pleased to appoint Thomas Cathrey, Esquire, to be Protector of Indians, for the Essequebo River; vice the Hon. W. Robertson, deceased.
All persons, whomsoever it doth or may concern, are hereby required to respect said Appointment accordingly.

On Sunday, came in the Dutch brig Aurora, Capt. H. Holm, 45 days from Amsterdam. She does not communicate anything authentic, relative to the fate of the Colonies.
