DEMERARY and ESSEQUEBO
Vol. X.] [Colophon] [No. 777.

ROYAL GAZETTE.

Tuesday, April 4, 1815.

LOCAL. [heading]
On the subject of the late fire - we have very little to add. The principal losers, appear to be Mrs. Ravenscroft, Mr. Kihing, and Mr. Booving [or Bouving]; at the house of which latter gentleman, the fire originated. We omitted in our last, among those who particularly exerted themselves, to record "the Officers and Crew of the Chanticleer brig of war."

A degree of alarm begins to prevail, in respect to the safety of our expected Packet. Her ordinary day of leaving England, was the 12th of February.
