Whereas the following Persons having lived for upwards of Ten Years in a state of Reputed Freedom, have, in consequence of the then Acting-Governor Colonel Codd's Proclamation, of the 18th September, 1813, petitioned the Honourable the Court of Policy of Demerary and Essequebo, for Regular Letters of Manumission, viz.

All those who may consider themselves entitled to oppose the delivery of such Regular Letters of Manumission, are hereby notified to state such opposition at the Colonial-Secretary's Office, between this date and next ensuing Ordinary Session of the Court of Policy aforesaid, on the 31st instant.

The Free Black Woman, Judith Mitchell, in 14 days or six weeks, from June 15.
James Rose, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from June 19.
The negro woman Marie and her child Charlotte, the property of Miss Debby Yearwood, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from ditto.
H. Richardet, in 14 days or July convoy, from ditto.
R. W. Gendeker, in 14 days from June 21.
Duncan Mackay, in ditto, or by the ship William, from ditto.
Capet Van Heythuyzen - in 14 days or by the Ship Quebec.
Anthony Bone in 14 days from June 27.

Benjamin Hall, and one servant in 14 days or 6 weeks, from July 3.
Samuel Owner, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from July 3.
J. L. Forrester, and two servants, in 14 days or six weeks, from June 5.
Jas. Jackson, and servant, in 14 days, from July 5.
W. W. Good, in 14 days or six weeks, from July 5.
N. Cline, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from July 5.

J. McArthur, in 14 days or six weeks, from June [sic] 7.

Banns of Matrimony - Between Howard Yearwood, Bachelor, born in Barbados, of the Protestant Religion, being of age, on the one part; and Miss Elizabeth Jones, born in this Colony, also of the Protestant Religion, a minor, assisted by and with consent of her mother, Mrs. E. Jones, on the other part.
Any person knowing any just cause, or impediment, why the above parties should not be joined together in Holy Matrimony, must declare the same at the Colonial Secretary's Office.

Banns of Matrimony - Between Lachlan Fraser, Bachelor, born in Scotland, of the Protestant Religion, being of age, on the one part; and Charlotte Rogers, Widow of John Hunt, born in this Colony, of the Protestant Religion, on the other part.
Any person knowing any just cause, or impediment, why the above parties should not be joined together in Holy Matrimony, must declare the same at the Colonial Secretary's Office.
