Banns of Matrimony - between Peter Capelhof Pieters, born in this Colony; and Miss Mariah Henrietta Langevin, also of this Colony.
Any person knowing any just cause or impediment, why the above parties should not be joined together in Holy Matrimony, must declare the same to the Revd. W. G. Straghan. - Demerary, Sept. 9.

For Sale or Hire. [heading]
The Buildings on Lot No. 3 formerly occupied by the Undersigned; - consisting of a good Dwelling-House and adequate Out-Offices; as also, two Small Houses in Regent-Street, on said Lot. - The whole will be disposed of at a very cheap rate, and liberal terms given to an approved purchaser. Possession can be given immediately.

The negro woman Amelia, and her child John, the property of Miss Charlotte Dean, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from August 14.
Francis Miller, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from August 21.
Robert Jackson, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from August 21.
Thomas Chilcott, and servant, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from August 22.
Frances Graves and servant, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from do.
Jno. How, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from August 23.
The free mulatto boy Peter W. Peterson, in 14 days or six weeks, from August 23.
George Cook, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from August 24.
N. Hazelwood and family, and three servants, in 14 days or first Packet.
Charles L. Robertson, in 14 days or first Packet, from Aug. 30.
Mrs. Ann Morgan, one servant, and a free coloured child, named Elizabeth - in 14 days or 6 weeks, from September 4.
