The Undersigned begs leave to return his most sincere acknowledgements to his Friends and the Public, for the kind patronage he has received during the period of his carrying on the Printing Business in this Colony; - and to inform them, that he will, on the 1st of January next, give over the whole of the Concern to Mr. William Baker, whom he begs leave to recommend to public favour, not doubting that he will use every endeavour to give satisfaction.

In consequence of the above, it is most respectfully announced, that the "Royal Gazette" will be published every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, without any additional expense to the Subscribers; and that other arrangements are making, which he trusts will ensure it a continuation of their patronage and support.
The publication of the additional Number, will commence on Thursday the 11th of January, 1816.
A Messenger will be punctually dispatched to Berbice; as well as the West Coast, Leguan, and Wakenaam.

R. Elliot begs leave to inform his friends and the public, that he purposes opening, the 8th January, 1816, a Boarding and Day School, for young Ladies and Gentlemen; in which will be taught Reading, Writing; Arithmetic [sic], Geography, Grammar, &c. &c. He resides, for the present, at the House recently occupied by John Pollard, Esq. Kingston. - December 30.

Independent of the arrivals named in the Port-List, we announce the Demerary, from Liverpool; and the Mail-Boat, from Barbados. The latter brought London Papers to the 18th of November.
